Community Co-Design brings together families, childcare providers, educators, and community partners to create culturally rooted resources that reflect the lived experiences, languages, and values of the communities we serve. Through collaborative listening, shared decision-making, and community expertise, we develop practical tools including parenting toolkits, children's storybooks, educational materials, and multilingual resources that strengthen early learning, support families, and improve outcomes for children.

Our flagship parenting toolkit was developed alongside East African families and childcare providers to bridge home and early learning environments. Available in English, Somali, and Oromo, the toolkit combines cultural traditions, child development, and practical strategies to help families and providers nurture children's learning, identity, and well-being together. Organizations, childcare providers, schools, and community partners can request printed copies or download the digital version. Additional language editions are currently in development.
We develop practical, culturally responsive learning resources that families, childcare providers, and educators can use every day. From children's storybooks and family guides to multilingual learning materials and classroom resources, each resource is created with community input to support early learning, strengthen cultural identity, and improve educational outcomes.
